About Me
Nick Ryan is a comedy writer who is the co-founder and co-head writer of the sketch group Fun in Moderation, which performs at comedy clubs and festivals throughout the year. This year Fun in Moderation, was selected to perform at Austin Sketch Fest and Philly Sketchfest, and won a coveted slot in the 20th Anniversary New York Comedy Festival. Nick is a Semifinalist in the Austin Film Festival comedy teleplay spec category for "The Other Two: Chase Gets Charitable" and placed Second Round at Austin for his comedy teleplay pilot "Check Please!". The filmed version of his sketch "$10 for Kids!"" was chosen for screening at Philly Sketchfest. Nick is also a featured background actor and stand-in on Saturday Night Live. He's worked on several TV and movie productions and received training at the Upright Citizens Brigade. Nick has a BFA in Film and Television from NYU's Tisch School of The Arts, where he concentrated in comedy writing.Comedy
